Introducción/ Introduction

Hola, mi nombre es Francisca. Soy chilena y desde que nací he vivido en el puerto de Valparaíso, por lo que sólo puedo contarles la realidad chilena que conozco a través de mi ciudad. Nunca he vivido en otro lugar, sólo he pasado de visita en algunas partes. Ustedes se preguntarán porqué entonces le he puesto "Chile" a mi blog si no voy a hablar de "todo Chile". Bueno, eso es porque existen otros lugares llamados Valparaíso como en Indiana y Nebraska, ambas en Estados Unidos. Si buscan en Google, existen muchas páginas con mucha información turística de mi ciudad, por lo que solamente enfocaré este blog en los aspectos costumbristas de mi vida diaria.

¿Qué me motiva? Ocurre que me gusta mucho Japón y siempre estoy buscando blogs para aprender de su cultura y su vida diaria (una de mis palabras favoritas en japonés es seikatsu, que significa "vida diaria"). De pronto pensé que quizás alguien de otro país quisiera conocer algo de Chile, por lo que decidí escribir en este blog. Además de escribir en español, escribiré en inglés para ejercitar la redacción de este idioma y también para que sea más universal. Espero les guste y si encuentran un error, porfavor háganmelo saber, porque quiero aprender.

Hello, my name is Francisca. I am chilean and I have been living on Valparaíso Port since I born, then I just can tell you about daily life in Chile from my own city's perspective. I've never lived on another place, I've just visit some places. Perhaps you will ask "then, why you put "Chile" on the title if you won't write about "whole Chile"". Well, that is because there is another cities called "Valparaíso" like "Valparaíso, Indiana" and "Valparaíso, Nebraska" (both of them from the USA). If you search on Google, you will find that there is a lot websites with touristic information about my city, so I just will focus this blog on cultural aspects (costumbrism) of my daily life.

¿What is my motivation? I've always loved Japan and I am always seeking new blogs to learn about their daily life (on of my favorites words in japanese,"seikatsu" 生活, that means "daily life")and culture. Suddenly, I thought that someone from another country would like to know something about Chile, then I decided to write on this blog. Besides of writting in spanish, I will translate all in english because its a universal language and also I need to train my english writting. I hope you enjoy this site and if you see a mistake (or lots of them), please, tell me because I like to learn.
